_ CPU変更

これまでサーバのCPUはVIA C3 800MHzで稼動していました．Webサーバが主体なのでそれほどスペックが必要なわけでもありませんが，好奇心からPentiumⅲ-S 1.26GHzにためしにのせかえてみることにしました．体感速度は変わったようには思えなかったのですが，Apacheのベンチマークをとってみると，その性能差は歴然でした．以前，phpを高速化するモジュールmmcacheを導入した際に取得した，ベンチマークのログと比較してみました．テストに利用したアプリケーションは，mmcacheのサイトでテストされたものと同じ，phpMyAdminを利用しました．

まずはC3の時の結果．

というわけで，"Time taken for tests"の値を比較してみると実に100倍近く処理速度があがっていることがわかります．これだけ変わると発熱もすごいかなぁと思っていたのですが，今のところ50℃前後を推移しているみたいです．もう少し様子を見てからこのまま行くか，元に戻すか考えようと思います．
